Epoxy zinc-rich primer is mainly used for anti-corrosion and anti-rust of steel structure facilities. It is a paint that most industrial coating manufacturers are currently producing. So how to choose epoxy zinc-rich primer and what matters need to be paid attention to?
1. Look at the zinc powder content. The price of epoxy zinc-rich primer mainly depends on the zinc powder content. In practical applications, the higher the zinc powder content, the better. Primers with appropriate zinc content should be selected according to coating requirements and substrate treatment conditions.
2. Look at the epoxy resin content. The content of epoxy resin determines the adhesion, mechanical properties and anti-corrosion properties of epoxy zinc-rich primer. Epoxy zinc-rich paint with high resin content is more suitable for coating substrates that have been sandblasted to Sa2.5 level.
